Workshop for healthcare providers
What to do with “non-compliance”
Evidence based techniques to compassionately motivate adherence
Rates of non-adherence (or non-compliance) in healthcare are estimated to be as high as 50-70%. This workshop will provide concrete, applicable skills based on the latest research that you can use to compassionately encourage adherence and health behavior change with your patients or clients. The workshop will involve hands-on, experiential activities drawn from Motivational Interviewing, Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy all within the scope of practice of a healthcare provider.
